Day 6 - Photo Challenge

As I was driving today thinking about what I should take a photo of...I started thinking about my sisters doing this challenge with me and what their photos would be today; they have specific ideas in mind, like my sister who is doing the alphabet -- check out her blog  http://memoriesexpress.blogspot.com/  and me...I'm very random, just going with "whatever" at the moment.  So, where do I find myself pulling into to take a picture......?

At the cemetery, this is my maternal grandparents.  I figure I must have been missing them.  I started thinking about the woodwork Grandpa Bill did and the crocheting my Grandma Bill did.  And I remember the cookies she'd have in the freezer that we got to eat when we had ice cream.  Grandpa Bill's workshop in the basement...I can still remember the smell of sawdust.  Also realizing that it has been over 23 and 25 years since they passed and yup I still miss them.

Day 5 ~ Photo Challenge

Started filling my China Cabinet up today. 

On the center shelf I have placed my Home Interiors figurines of the "Last Supper".  

1 Corinthians 11:24-27(NKJV) 

And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 

In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." 

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes. Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord

Day 4 ~ Photo Challenge

COFFEE, COFFEE, COFFEE; NOW, NOW, NOW!!

OK, so I did wait 4 days before posting my favorite drink!

I love my coffee, I drink it strong and black, creamed, iced, and sugared.

I love my Lattes, I drink them hot, iced, and frozen.

My favorite specialty drinks:

at "Starbucks": 

Venti Caramel Machiato and an extra espresso!

and Venti Caramel Frappuccino no whip add an extra espresso!

My local coffee shop "Grand Central":

 Large Peanut Butter Butter Pecan Latte add an extra espresso!

Mom and Dad's China Cabinet

The China Cabinet stood in the corner of my parents' dining room for-ever. And today the cabinet found a new home.  MY living room.  I must say after a little bit of furniture polish and window cleaner it looks mighty nice.  I am proud of this little old cabinet and can't wait to fill it up with my pretties.
